Our friend and Blues buddy Clive has had a Stroke, but is now recovering well, and in the meantime we are playing on with a variety of friends standing in for him....The Beat Goes On...8)

Have to say I remember we acquires a new word in Scarborough that year which stayed around for years and that was "wiggett" (probably spelt this wrong!! Also seem to remember I think your manager at the time was taken to Scarborough hospital with a heart problem - funny how things come back to you after all these years, when I cant remember much of what happened yesterday!!

you me too I cant remember yesterday, maybe the beer has something to do with it!!!!! and I do remember our manager having to go to hospital,( think it was we paid him his 10% commission)

Hi Clive came across your website a few days ago after I googled Scarecrow and have thoroughly enjoyed reading it's content and looking back at the old photos, but best of all listening to the music. We were a bunch of five friends from Newcastle on holiday in Scarborough in I think 1972 when we first saw Scarecrow perform - wish I still had the T shirt!! It's fantastic to see how you progressed from then and to read the great comments from those friends and fans that obviously followed you.What was really lovely was the photo of the four of you in 1999 - still friends and in touch. When I read what Bill does it reminded me that all those years ago he bought a violin in a second hand shop in Scarborough which needed lots of TLC - wonder if he managed to repair it !!  

Hi Anne, nice to hear from  you,a blast from the past. Scarborough,,its there in the back of my mind some where, remember playing there a few times and having to drive back to London the same night as we had a gig there the next day, God how many times we did that, even touring the Uk and and off to Europe for a tour with out any rest in between, must have been mad but there again wouldn't have it any other way. As for Bills violin I'm sure he still has it..... in fact I'm sure I have a track of him playing it on a number we recorded, have to dig it out.....Maybe your become a member of our site, be nice to have you here.
